Venus Retrograde in Pisces – (March 1 – April 12)

Venus entered the water sign of Pisces on the 27th of January and would be staying here till the 31st of May thanks to its retrograde motion that starts on the 1st of March. Here there would be an exchange of signs with Jupiter, with Jupiter being in Venus’ sign of Taurus and Venus transiting through Pisces, the abode of Jupiter. Venus and Jupiter are good friends, they are benefic and together they bestow wisdom and knowledge. And Venus is said to be Exalted in Pisces as well. Venus in Pisces would guide for things to flow freely with love, compassion and beauty. Both Jupiter and Venus support each other during this transit phase. Venus would be ending its retrograde phase on the 12th of April. Venus turning retrograde could make us feel being pulled away from someone loving or caring. Connections seem to be disrupted during this retrograde phase of Venus. Some of the inner most feelings and hidden weaknesses now come to the fore. During this retrograde phase Venus would not be visible in the evening sky. And for the last days of April, Venus would be visible as the morning star. On the 22nd of March, Venus comes between the Earth and Sun resulting in the inferior conjunction. Venus retrograde helps us to get rid of what is not useful for our future growth. We would be liberated from anything that is holding us back. This is a good time to evaluate how you relate to your relationships and make changes if it does not support a healthier one.

Sun and Saturn Conjunction in Aquarius-(March 11)

As the month of March starts, Sun would be transiting through the last degrees of Aquarius. And on the 11th of March Sun and Saturn in Aquarius get into exact conjunction (0 deg). The Sun stands for individuality and “self” while Saturn is all about collectiveness and community. Their interaction brings some surprising trends to the table. Full Moon- Total Lunar Eclipse in Leo- (March 13-14)

The Sun was in conjunct with Saturn in Aquarius on the 11th of March. Then it moves ahead of Saturn and on the 13th of March gets into opposition (180 deg) with the Moon in Leo forming the Full Moon for the month. As this Full Moon is so close to the nodal axis it forms a Total Lunar Eclipse. The Sun is at 29 degrees of Aquarius and Moon is at 29 degrees of Leo during this Lunar Eclipse. Europe, much of Asia, Much of Australia, much of Africa, North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic, Antarctica would be able to view this Total Lunar Eclipse. Shortly the Sun would be transiting to Pisces and the Moon into Virgo. This Lunar Eclipse urges as to be practical about the talents and skills we are blessed with and to put them to good use conserving nature as well. Shortly there would be much happenings in the water sign of Pisces, which is also the last in the zodiac line-up. Sun Transits Pisces – (March 14 – April 13)

Shortly after the Lunar Eclipse or the Full Moon, the Sun in Aquarius transits to the sign of Pisces on the 14th of March and would be here till the 13th of April for a one-month period. Mercury Retrograde in Pisces-( March 15 – April 7)

Mercury transiting through Pisces turns retrograde on the 15th of March and stays so till the 7th of April when it turns Direct once again. The retrograde phase of Mercury starts exactly at 16 degrees of Pisces. A point to note here is that Venus is also currently retrograding in Pisces at 13 degrees, very close by. Mercury and Venus make good friends and with both of them now in retrograde mode, this would be a time to find new ways to connect and communicate and get rid of the old patterns we are used to. Use this retrograde period of Mercury to make some edits, reconnect with your loved ones and be ready for some changes. New Moon -Partial Solar Eclipse in Pisces- (March 29)

The waning Moon of March in Pisces gets into exact conjunction with the other luminary, the Sun at 15 degrees of Pisces marking the New Moon. As this New Moon is about 11 degrees from the Nodal Axis, it makes a Partial Solar Eclipse. This would be visible in Europe, North Asia, North/West Africa, much of North America, North in South America, Atlantic and the Arctic. The New Moon in general would be draining our energy and add to that the energy of the Eclipse which brings our hidden fears to the fore. This is a time when we are urged to stay close to our loved ones and our communities. Resilience and flexibility are best advised for this eclipse season. With the Eclipse bringing about a churning in the world around us, we are asked to take control of our immediate things, lay low and connect to our roots and find new ways for growth and channelling of energies. With the Saturn influence on the Eclipse there would be complete exhaustion around. Determination and remaining detached helps. Though there would be darkness and confusion around, the discipline brought about by Saturn would help us to navigate easily, knowing our real purpose in life.

Saturn Transits Pisces-( March 29, 2025 – Feb 23, 2028)

Just as the Solar Eclipse ends, on the 29th of March we have Saturn shifting its position from the sign of Aquarius to Pisces. Saturn would be travelling through Pisces for the next three- year period till the 23rd of February, 2028. Saturn is known for determination and detachment while Pisces has a universal and dispersed atmosphere. From Pisces, Saturn would be aspecting Taurus by its 3rd house aspect. This brings about some practicality and contractive influence on the natives. Then we have Saturn aspecting Virgo by its 7th house aspect and finally Sagittarius, by its 10th house aspect. This transit of Saturn would bring about some pressure and obstruction to our forward plans. Areas ruled by Saturn like diseases, old age and the transient nature of life might be hindered. We are urged to stay humble. No amount of resistance would help, instead total surrender is best advised. This Saturn transit would ask us to bring about all our individual experiences and decisions towards a collective approach. Saturn would teach us that we cannot run away from reality, that time is precious and that all our actions and intents matter the most these days. Surrendering to the monotony of life helps.
