Sun Transits Scorpio –(November 15 – December 15)
On the 1 st of November, the luminaries Sun and Moon join together at 16 degrees of Libra forming the New Moon for the month. There would be another New Moon on the 30 th of November as well in the water sign of Scorpio.
The New Moon in Libra would be aspected by the fiery Mars from the water sign of Cancer. Mars is debilitated in the sign of Cancer. Hence this would be a time when there would be constant shifts around, flow requires navigation and this would be quite a vulnerable time.
As always, this New Moon would be a period of low mental and physical energy and Libra is all about rebalancing. Hence let us take this as a stock taking time and find what is needed and how our paths can be corrected for a better future. Libra also has the dubious distinction of finding it difficult to take decisions. And with the debilitated Mars aspecting Libra, we would be caught between what is practical and what seems right to our heart. However, do note that the Moon would be teaching the fiery Mars to go it slow during the tough times ahead.
VENUS TRANSITS SAGITTARIUS- (NOVEMBER 6 - DECEMBER 1)
On the 6 th of November, Venus shifts position from Mars’ house of Scorpio into Jupiter’s territory of Sagittarius and would be here till the 1 st of December. This is a good position with both Venus and Jupiter with an exchange of signs wherein Venus is transiting through Jupiter’s sign of Sagittarius and Jupiter is transiting through Venus’ house of Taurus.
When Venus transits through Sagittarius, our creative potential increases and there would be much growth and expression of our creativity. The exchange of signs between Venus and Jupiter would promote positive growth, expansion and forge good connections. Do note that now Jupiter is retrograding and this gives a still better picture of what is blocking our path and what we value in life.
SATURN DIRECT IN AQUARIUS- NOVEMBER 15
Saturn retrograding for quite sometime now from the end of June, turns direct on the 15 th of November in the water sign of Aquarius. This brings about an unstable environment around which might hinder or delay our forward movement plans. Though things might seem tough and bring about discomfort they teach us some important life lessons and how to navigate life with ease. With Jupiter still retrograding, we would have some trouble navigating forward.
Saturn turns direct at 19 degrees of Aquarius. Use this direct movement of Saturn to build some long- term projects. Saturn helps us to lay a solid foundation for some of our wildest dreams. Though the path might seen daunting, the travel would be worth the pain.
FULL MOON IN ARIES- NOVEMBER 15
On the same day Saturn turns direct, the Moon gets full at 30 degrees of Aries with the Sun opposing it from 30 degrees of Libra. Do note here that the Sun is in Libra, the sign of Venus and Moon is in Aries, the house of Mars and hence there would be some passion plays around. Around this same day there is another opposition between Jupiter and Mercury wherein Jupiter is in Taurus, the abode of Venus and Mercury is in Scorpio, which is home to Mars. This would help with our educational pursuits and brings about clarity in our paths ahead.
The Full Moon in Aries is aspected by Saturn that turned direct just this day and the Sun in Libra is aspected by the debilitated Mars. This Full Moon on 15 th of November is a Friday when we encounter so many shifts all along the day. We wake up in one situation and might lag in another one, just stay focused but lay low.
SUN TRANSITS IN SCORPIO- (NOVEMBER 15 - DECEMBER 15)
On November 15 th , we have Saturn turning Direct in Aquarius and a Full Moon in Aries. On this same day, the Sun transiting through Libra moves over to the sign of Scorpio for a one-month long stint there. In Scorpio, the Sun gets the company of Mercury and would be aspected by the Retrograde Jupiter.
The sign of Scorpio is currently aspected by three planets, Rahu or the Moon’s North Node from Pisces, Jupiter from Taurus and Saturn from Aquarius. This is likely to bring about some major transformations around.
With the Sun entering the sign of Scorpio, we would be guided to take the leap of faith, plunge in and commit to things that would be content for our soul. We ought to stay grounded around this time though with lot of transformational energy around. The Full Moon of the day would give enough light and clarity to move forward though the road ahead seems bumpy and tough.
MERCURY RETROGRADE IN SCORPIO - (NOVEMBER 25 - DECEMBER 15)
The final phase of Mercury retrograde for 2024 starts on the 25 th of November at 29 degrees of Scorpio and ends on the 15 th of December at 13 degrees of Scorpio. With this the sign of Scorpio gets still more energized.
This retrograde Mercury from Scorpio would be opposing the retrograde Jupiter currently transiting through the sign of Taurus. During this Mercury retrograde there would be honest review of our passions and we would be learning ways as to how to manage our passions and divert our sensual energy towards the betterment of our romantic relationships.
As Mercury travels through Scorpio during this retrograde phase, we would be reviewing our creative processes, our educational pursuits and lifestyle habits. This is more or less of a stock-taking situation wherein we would be guided as to what is to be held on to and what can be left aside.
Look for some exciting times when Mercury is in retrograde motion in Scorpio. A good time to dig deep, dive in, reorganize, and reorient our paths towards a better future.
NEW MOON IN SCORPIO- NOVEMBER 30
On the 30 th of November as the month ends, we have the luminaries Sun and Moon joining together at 16 degrees of Scorpio forming the New Moon for the month. Do note that this is the second New Moon for November, we already experienced a New Moon in Libra on the 1 st of November.
Scorpio is already loaded with much events with it receiving the aspects of Jupiter, Saturn and the North Node of the Moon or Rahu. This New Moon again denotes a transformational energy wherein we would be taking certain baby steps that might be quiet and unknown to the world outside. We would be initiated to make some slow paced, deep works that the Retrograde Saturn would favor during this New Moon.
This New Moon is an apt time to take stock of what gives real happiness to us, what is our direction ahead, what are our challenges in life and which path is the right one for our growth. Use the energy of the New Moon to review the contracts that you hold with your own self and with that of others. Make amends if needed. Focus is much needed around this New Moon day as the retrograde energies of Jupiter and Saturn playing around might confuse us. Learn from your past mistakes, re-wire yourself and seek for opportunities from around.
